On 29 January 2011, the leaders of the different Filipino communities in the Archdiocese of Cologne met in the church hall of St. Winfried Church in Bonn, Germany. The Council of Leaders is held every fifth Saturday of the year to discuss the different activities, plans and programmes of the Filipino mission.

For this meeting, the group made the pastoral planning for the year using the book "Rediscovering Catholicism" of Matthew Kelly as a guide. The main thrust of the community this year is evangelization.

The meeting also addressed the issue of the selection of the Head Coordinator and an alternate to assist the Chaplain and the different communities that would hold office for one year also according to the decision of the Council. For this year, the Head Coordinator is Sis. Linda Stein of the Cologne Community with Bro. Lando Velasco as alternate.
